CNA (Casual, Call-In; Non-Exempt) 07/15/08

Under the supervision of the Charge Nurse, provides assigned residents with routine daily nursing care in accordance with current applicable federal, and state standards, guidelines and regulations for long-term care, established nursing care procedures and care plan, and as directed by supervisors.

  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
    -Current Hawaii CNA certification (Group 1 classification).
    -Current CPR certification.
    -Hawaii State approved CNA competency training.
    -High school diploma or equivalent.
    -Current physical and tuberculosis clearance
    -U.S. citizen, lawful permanent alien status or alien authorized to work for a specified time by the U.S. Department of Justice.
  • DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
    -Previous CNA experience preferred.
    -Experience in a health care or long-term care nursing facility highly preferred.
    -One year prior employment experience in long term care or preferred.
